Kwadukuza Private Hospital has a vacancy for a Billing Auditor who will be responsible to provide timeous, efficient, accurate auditing of patient files including medical charts and records for compliance with coding regulations and guidelines and to identify inaccuracies, compliance issues and inefficiencies.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
* Grade 12 (Matric)
* Qualification that allows registration with the SANC eg (Professional Nurse, Enrolled Nurse)
* SANC receipt and ICD/CPT Coding is a pre-requisite (Advanced clinical coder preferred)
* At least 5 years bill auditing experience in a hospital environment.

The successful Candidate will have the following responsibilities:
* Patient Billing and Auditing
* Patient Case Management
* Manage Care Organization Liaison
* Doctor Liaison
* Data Management and Statistical Analysis
* Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* Understanding of the FFS Interpretation and Billing Document.
* Understand and interpretation the FFS and NHN Tariff Structure.
* Knowledge of NHN billing agreements and tariffs.
* Knowledge of or previous experience using the HIS.
* Computer literate - must be accurate and pay attention to detail
